Conservation Diver Academic Achievements
At Conservation Diver, we believe that monitoring and research should be the responsibility and priority of any marine center interacting with or conducting restorative practices on marine ecosystems. Without this element, a center has no quantitative way to track its progress and see if they succeed in restoring ecosystems.
Adding to the pool of scientific literature is crucial to better understanding the ecosystems we are dealing with. Reporting new species, interactions, and ecosystem functions should be a continual goal for any program wishing to contribute to ocean conservation positively. Much of our research also documents new species, interactions, and observations. These publications help us paint the complete picture of how ecosystems work, and the more knowledge we have of these processes, the better we can understand and successfully preserve them.
The items listed below reflect our academic achievements and include one or more Conservation Diver instructors, interns or has involved in research on our restorative practices. The information provided in these articles, reports, and books is relevant to our teaching topics and courses. They are valuable reading materials to obtain more information on our courses and gain insight into who we are as an organization.
Many of these items are open access, however, if you are having troubles accessing any of our work, feel free to get in touch, and we can help.
