At Conservation Diver, we believe that monitoring and research should be the responsibility and priority of any marine centre interacting with or conducting restorative practices on marine ecosystems. Without this element, a centre has no quantitative way to track their progress and see if they are succeeding in restoring ecosystems. Unfortunately, there are programs which have little to no scientific basis to their work. We want to make our academic achievements available to past, present and future Conservation Divers, to instil confidence in our work.

Adding to the pool of scientific literature is crucial to better understand the ecosystems with which we are dealing, and reporting new species, interactions and ecosystem functions should be a continual goal for any program wishing to positively contribute to ocean conservation. Much of our research also documents new species, interactions, and observations. These publications help us paint the full picture of how ecosystems work, and the more knowledge we have of these processes, the better we can understand and successfully preserve them.

The items listed below reflect our academic achievements and included one or more Conservation Diver Instructor, interns or has involved research on our restorative practices. The information provided in these articles, reports and books are relevant to the topics and courses which we teach. They are useful reading materials to obtain more information on our courses, as well as gaining insight into who we are as an organisation.

Many of these items are open access, however if you are having troubles accessing any of our work, feel free to get in touch and we can help.
