Contributor`s Publishing Agreement Prior to publication, SAGE requires the author, as the rights holder, to sign a contributing journal`s Publishing Agreement. SAGE`s Journal Contributor`s Publishing Agreement for traditional subscription magazines is an exclusive license agreement that means that the author retains the copyright in the work, while granting SAGE the exclusive and exclusive right and publication license for the entire legal term of the copyright. There may be exceptions if the transfer of copyright is required or preferred by an owner other than SAGE. In this case, the copyright in the work is transferred from the author to the company. This license allows authors to make Open Access articles by archiving their articles free of charge via the green open access archiving. Authors who have published in a subscription journal can do so by depositing the version of the article (version 2) adopted for publication in their own institution`s repository. 2. Why does SAGE need an exclusive license agreement? We strive to make your contribution accessible to the widest possible readership. An exclusive license helps us ensure adequate protection against infringement of copyrighted material through copyright infringement or piracy anywhere in the world. It also ensures that requests from third parties to reproduce or reproduce a contribution in any format are dealt with effectively in accordance with the general policy that promotes the dissemination of knowledge within the framework of copyright. At the time of publication, all articles will be immediately open access, at no cost to you as the author. (Please note that other fees, such as color figurines or special prints, are not covered by the agreement.) In addition, authors who publish in one of SAGE`s full-access magazines get a 20% discount on open access publishing fees: the magazines you want to publish in can be included in the agreement – see SAGE magazine titles, which are popular with Stirling researchers. Please also contact your library or information service on other related topics.

You can also contact SAGE`s after-sales service at openaccess@sagepub.com. 12. Does the contribution agreement allow me to respect certain mandates of donors and institutions, including the NIH? THE MINISTER – Yes, the wise contributors allow all authors to publish full-access archiving mandates in full compliance with the most well-known funding bodies today. Exceptions are covered by the SAGE Choice scheme. Please also respect your rights as an author. Information on informed consent for the notification of isolated cases or case series should be included in the text of the manuscript. It is necessary to explain whether written consent has been given to the publication of patient information and images by the patient(s) or by a legally authorised representative. . . .
