Conservation Divers trained in our Crown of Thorns program will have a leg=up on the competition for this one:

Applications are invited for innovative research projects aimed at
controlling Crown-of-Thorns Starfish (COTS) populations. Several grants will
be awarded to conduct field work on the Great Barrier Reef in 2018. The
grants provide funding for field expenses only – salary is not provided.

Grants are funded by the Lizard Island Reef Research Foundation under The
Ian Potter Foundation 50th Anniversary Commemorative Grants scheme.
