Gili Air

Gili Air is famous for its laid back and quite lifestyles, the way island life is meant to be. No cars, no traffic, no worries. But is not all just beach bars and yoga retreats, the island is also well known for it’s spectacular abundance and diversity of marine life. Over the last few decades, the island has become a major hotspot for SCUBA diving tourism, and the amazing coral reefs here are sure to never disappoint. and now, we are working to make Gili Air also a mecca for marine conservation.

The Blue Marlin Dive center on Gili Air has established itself as one of the most professional, yet personal, dive schools around. Continuing on with the ethos of the sister Blue Marlin Dive Centers which have been running for 25 years, the school on Gili Air has also taken things a step further by becoming a Conservation Diver Training Center, the only one in Indonesia. The marine conservation training conducted by Conservation Diver instructor Leon Haines, who is a passionate and knowledgeable reef manager. They offer several of the Conservation Diver certification courses, and are adding new and innovative projects all the time.
